We are having a Vocabulary Workshop test on Unit 11 on Thursday, June 9. Study R&W pages 108 - 115. We are also having a Spelling Test on Tuesday, June 7. Study R&W page 164 (return).

This week we are having a Reading Street Test on Thursday, May 26. Study vocabulary cards (ambition) from Horse Heeroes. Also study all Horse Heroes worksheets.

In Grammar, we will have a Verb Test on Wednesday, June 2. Study Grammar text pages 60 - 79 (CC) or pages 56 - 75 (OB).

I In Social Studies we are studying the early history of the Southeast including the explorers Juan Ponce de Leon, Hernando de Soto, and Robert La Salle. Wwe are costructing a timeline of important historic events.

We continue to follow the progress of the Presidential Primaries.

There will be a Social Studies Vocabulary Test on Friday, May 6 for the words on text page 194 (St. Augustine, etc.) 13 words.

IWe had a wonderful time at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute on Friday, May 20.

We were especially impressed with the replicas of the Senator's Washington office and the U.S. Senate Chamber.We enjoyed being Senators for a Day!'

This week we will be studying the Midwest.
